Potatoes

No issues with this commodity with Golden Wonder Kerrs Pink, Rooster and Maris Piper for boiling and for chipping Maris Piper and Agria.
Baby potatoes we have French Agata and UK Maris Peer
 

Vegetable

Good quality Scottish  Carrot, Turnip, Leek. UK Broccoli and Cauliflower have now finished now from Spain and France and price fair.
Onions have huge difference in price between Dutch and Spanish this will continue in the foreseeable future.

Salads

Tomatoes are stable in price but we have seen a rise in Pepper prices over last week this has been caused by holidays in Spain and low prices received from UK over last few months. Iceberg quality ok. Lollo,oak,endive slight issues we are dressing as necessary, cucumber cherry toms etc.- all good quality

Apples & Pears

Plenty of Apples with Golden Del, Royal Gala, Braeburn, Granny Smith from France and Cox Pippin and Bramley from UK. Pears are Conference and Williams

Citrus

Oranges, Satsumas and Clementine’s are from Spain and Morocco
Lemons are from Turkey and Spain
Prices are stable  

Grapes

Green and Flame grape are from S/Africa all good quality
Yellow, Galia and Cantaloupe melons are from Brazil quality is good
Strawberry, rasps are from Spain quality fair.

Exotics

Mangetout and Sugar Snaps quality ok
Fine Bean suffering from browning because of wet weather in Kenya also large list of exotic produce ask Sales for list

With Christmas over and sales slow it’s time for savings, in this commodity we intend to run promotions with large savings to help you through this difficult time of year
